Boise Market Statistics June 2012Where is 2012 going?! Its July and we have officially passed the halfway mark. Wow. But, of course, why you are probably reading this points is to find out about how the housing market is doing here in the Treasure Valley. Right? That was more of a rhetorical question honestly.

June 2012 saw closed sales come back up after last months dip. As well, both pending sales and inventory levels rose slightly. We are starting to see a healthy housing market emerge which is a very good thing.

Compared to June 2011 we see more homes being sold, with fewer listings available, which is all good news for all you seller’s out there. It can still be pretty frustrating for many of you buyers though. Sorry about that.

2011 Was Officially the Bottom

I know; its stupid to make such proclamations. But with 6 months of 2012 in the bag and prices continuing to rise (however slightly) I’m here to tell you 2012 will be a better year than 2011 was in the housing market!

Now to hold my breathe for the next 6 months. 😉
